Designated buildings, structures and cultural heritage landscapes are protected by a heritage designation bylaw under the Ontario Heritage Act, or have been deemed to have Provincial significance.
How to use the map:
- Click the Legend icon in the upper right corner of the map (three horizontal bars prefixed by symbols) to learn what type of heritage status applies to a property or area.
- Zoom and scroll around the map to find properties or use the search bar to find a specific address. The search function will bring you to the property’s address point, then click within the red dot, circle or property outline to learn about the heritage status of the property or area.
