Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) cameras

  • Automated Speed Enforcement cameras have been in use in Guelph school zones since August 1, 2023.
  • Speeding tickets will be mailed to registered owners of motor vehicles who are found speeding within these identified school zones.
  • There are no associated demerit points on Automated Speed Enforcement tickets.
  • There are no impacts to a driver’s abstract for Automated Speed Enforcement tickets.

The Provincial Offences Court is responsible for the administrative and prosecutorial processes arising from violations contrary to the Highway Traffic Act, the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, the Trespass to Property Act and other statutes and regulations.
