Location
The Southcreek Trail Pollinator Habitat is located between 37 and 43 Southcreek Trail, in the green space at the entrance to Preservation Park.
About the garden
Two University of Guelph students, one being a resident of Southcreek Trail, couldn’t help but imagine a better use for the large green space heading into Southcreek Trail by Preservation Park – this is when they began to work with the City of Guelph to design a new Community Garden!
The Southcreek Trail Pollinator Habitat will become a beautiful pollinator habitat filled with native flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees. This garden will blend the green space with the Preservation Park forest, providing more beauty and use to both humans and animals alike than the current all-turf field.
