Child Care and Learning Centre Community Garden


50 Stone Road East on the University of Guelph campus at the Child Care and Learning Centre (CCLC).

About the garden

  • There are no individual plots for rent, this garden is  a communal shared working and teaching and learning garden dedicated to teaching children where their food comes from and strengthening relationships with nature.
  • It is planted and maintained by volunteers including the children, families, and educators of the CLCC.
  • >The food grown in the garden is used in the snacks and meals prepared at the CCLC. Families and educators are also encouraged to harvest fruits, vegetables, and herbs from the garden.
