Buy an OnYourWay reloadable fare card from a City facility or select retailers for $5. You can add fares to it there or at your own leisure online.
Where to buy your OnYourWay fare card
Note: if you are eligible for a reduced fare card (child, youth, senior, post-secondary or affordable), the first card can be updated by visiting a select retailer and following the instructions below or in-person at Guelph Transit administrative office (170 Watson Road South) or City Hall (ServiceGuelph).
Alternatively, you can pick-up a blank card with no dollar value on it at a select retailer (refer to chart). Once you get the card, have ready the following:
- Your name
- Type of card you’re needing to activate (youth, senior, post-secondary, Affordable Bus Pass)
- Your proof of eligibility

Reduced transit fare eligibility form
Only Adult OnYourWay fare cards can be purchased at authorized retailers, Guelph Public Library branches and the Guelph Museum. However, Adult and Reduced fare cards can be reloaded at any City facility or select retailer.
Card types
- Adult: Available to anyone.
- Reduced: Available to those who show proof of eligibility for reduced fares such as child, youth (13–17 years), post-secondary, senior (65+ years), and other special transit fare programs (e.g. Affordable Bus Pass).
