We’re always moving in Guelph. Wherever we’re going along our streets, we all want to feel safe. Vision Zero is all about making our streets safe. It is also a strategy for reducing the number of people killed and seriously injured on our roadways to zero.
One of the most effective ways for reducing the severity of a collision is by reducing vehicle speed. The City of Guelph has reduced the speed limits in several neighborhoods to 40 km/hr. This aims to increase safety and help us reach our goal of Vision Zero. Safe streets, save lives.
