Pottery and Art Centre

Hands sculpting pottery

Guelph’s new Pottery and Art Centre, previously located at 14 Edinburgh Road South, relocated to the West End Community Centre in October 2025.

The new, larger space allows for increased capacity in our existing programs, more diverse program offerings for aspiring artists and an expansion of the City’s child, youth, adult and older adult program opportunities. The new space also supports workshops, team-building activities and a variety of special event opportunities.

Pottery and art programs

Please join our skilled and friendly pottery and art instructors for single or multi-week programs. Learn to work with clay, pottery tools and equipment through various projects. Participants will work at their own pace with instruction and guidance to create decorative and able projects.

We believe that creativity is for everyone, so we designed this space to inspire artists of all ages and skill levels through hands on experiences. All you need to bring is your curiosity, an open mind and the desire to create!

Programs are now available for registration on recenroll.ca.

Fee assistance

We offer a subsidy program to help adults and seniors on a limited income stay active with the Fee Assistance in Recreation (FAIR) program. The program helps subsidize the cost for recreation programs, swim passes, or other memberships. People who qualify can receive a discount on registration fees.
