Our City of Guelph Parks team depend on seasonal staff to maintain our outdoor spaces for the community’s spring and summer activities. During rainy spells, it’s important to avoid using the fields to prevent harm, like deep ruts that occur when the ground is wet. If sports fields are damaged and repairs are necessary, it might mean an extended closure until the fields are fixed and safe for play.
