In most areas, dogs must be kept on a leash and under control. Guelph has some designated off-leash areas, and all dogs must be licensed. Contact the Guelph Humane Society at 519-824-3091 or use the map app to:

The Animal Control Bylaw applies to keeping chickens/poultry, ducks, geese, pigeons, snakes, monkeys, raccoons, and other animals.
