This plaque marks centre ice at the Guelph Memorial Gardens Arena. Built in 1948, the arena was home to the Biltmore Mad Hatters, Guelph Platers, Guelph Royals, and the Guelph Storm.
The arena was demolished in 2006 to make way for the new City Hall.
