Northumberland Street On-street Parking Review

April 2018 – On-Street Parking Survey The City’s Transportation Services department has received a public request to review on-street parking on Northumberland Street To address this concern, the City is considering implementing on-street parking on the east side of Northumberland Street between Kent Street and the pedestrian bridge over Norfolk Street. Staff must receive a minimum support rate of 75% of the affected residents that are in favour of the proposal in order for the change to occur. Deshane Street – On-street Parking Review

April 2018 – On-Street Parking Survey The City’s Transportation Services department has received a public request to review on-street parking on Deshane Street between the intersections with Norma Crescent. The request cited concerns regarding vehicles parking on both sides of Deshane Street, which in their opinion would impede two-way travel. To address this concern, the City is considering restricting on-street parking on the east side of Deshane Street from Norma Crescent (north) to Norma Crescent (south). Staff must receive a minimum support rate of 75% of the affected residents that are in favour of the proposal in order for the change to occur. Grange Street – On-street Parking Review

March 2018 – On-Street Parking Survey The City’s Transportation Services department has received a public request to review on-street parking on Grange Street.  The request cited concerns regarding vehicles parking on both sides of Grange Street, which in their opinion would impede two-way traffic. To address this concern, the City is considering restricting on-street parking on the south side of Grange Street from Stevenson Street to 60 metres east of William Street (effectively making the entire south side no parking anytime). The purpose of the restriction on the south side is to maximize the availability of remaining on-street parking on Grange Street.
