Guelph celebrates ninth solar energy installation

Billion dollar solar company brings up to 500 jobs to Guelph

Guelph will be home to one of North America’s largest solar panel manufacturing facilities. Community Energy Initiative set Guelph apart, was central in sealing deal. GUELPH, ON, August 11, 2010 – Canadian Solar Inc., the world’s eighth largest solar module company, announced today it will establish a solar module manufacturing facility in Guelph, bringing 300 to 500 jobs to the city.
