RBC Market Mornings – Seascapes

2017 RBC Market Mornings Artist – Sarah Mousseau Local mixed-media artist, Sarah Mousseau, will lead four outdoor art-making activities that are open and free to the public during the month of August at Guelph Farmers’ Market. The project, titled “Seascapes,” invites community members to help create whimsical sea creatures which will then be installed in the trees and green-space in front of the Farmers’ Market over Culture Days weekend, September 29 – October 1. August 5 – Exotic Fish August 12 – Crustaceans August 19 – Octopuses August 26 – Coral Each Saturday, participants will work together to build these creatures which will be created with repurposed materials. “Idea Garden” planned for RBC Market Mornings

City’s Farmers’ Market to host free outdoor art-making activities Guelph, ON, August 10, 2015 – Starting Saturday, August 15, and continuing over the next four Saturdays, community members are invited to contribute to the creation of a collaborative work of art outside of the Farmers’ Market as part of the City of Guelph’s RBC Market Mornings. Guelph artist Meredith Blackmore will be encouraging participants to build a garden of ideas and possibilities starting with a blank canvas. In the first few weeks, the project entitled, “Idea Garden,” will ask community members to map out the garden’s spaces – its rows and beds, arches and borders, pots and planters. Farmers’ Market renovation update

Guelph, ON, August 13, 2013 – The City has finalized a construction schedule with Stahle Construction to complete much-needed renovations at the Guelph Farmers’ Market building. Stahle Construction started on site construction at 2 Gordon Street on Thursday, July 25. The contractor will work with the City to complete the renovations by the week of September 9.
