Guelph makes Culture Days’ top 10 list for third year

Guelph, Ont., November 13, 2017– Guelph has made the Culture Days Top Ten Cities and Towns list for 2017. Guelph moved up two spots in the ranking, placing eighth in the Populations of 50,000 to 499,999 category, tying with Thunder Bay. Culture Days Open Mic: Stories of people on the move

The Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership and Guelph Public Library (GPL) invites you to share your memories and stories at our Culture Days open mic event, Stories of People on the Move. The event will be held Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the downtown branch of the Guelph Public Library on the second floor to hear and share stories of migration, immigration, and people on the move. Culture Days descends on Guelph this weekend

The annual three-day celebration takes place September 29 to October 1 Guelph, Ont., September 26, 2017 – Close to 40 free activities, events and exhibitions will take place across the city as part of the eighth annual Culture Days celebrations running from September 29 through October 1. Culture Days will be celebrated in Guelph through visual arts, music, storytelling, architecture, heritage, film and video, literature, crafts, culinary arts and new media. Everyone can play a role in Culture Days

Guelph, Ont., August 29, 2016 – The deadline is fast approaching for prospective organizations, individuals and groups wishing to participate in the upcoming Culture Days festivities. Anyone wanting to participate in this year’s celebrations is urged to register their event or activity on the Culture Days website before Wednesday, September 13 to ensure they are listed in the Culture Day’s program. A full listing of Guelph-based activities will also be posted on the City’s website, guelph.ca/culturedays. The Culture Days website provides tips, tools, swag and training for those who register. All events will be promoted nationally and locally.
