About the Centre
The Evergreen Seniors Community Centre is a fully accessible, multi-purpose community centre. We are a vibrant and active space, and are also a member of the Older Adult Centres Association of Ontario (OACAO).

Evening rentals can be accommodated. Please make your request a minimum of one week in advance.
Features
The Evergreen Seniors Community Centre is a vibrant and active community centre that includes meeting rooms, an auditorium/gymnasium and a Bistro Restaurant. It’s a great place to meet and socialize!
Bistro 683
Located at the entrance of the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre, Bistro 683 offers featured daily hot meals for breakfast and lunch, along with other menu items such as burgers, sandwiches, soup, and coffee or tea service. The Bistro also offers a large variety of nutritious “Take Home Frozen Meals” available in the Bistro Freezer to purchase.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
- Bistro Freezer (sandwiches & frozen meal purchases), 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Programming and schedules
The City of Guelph offers a variety of registered recreation programs and drop in recreation programs for individuals of all abilities, including programs for adults 55+ and seniors. Guelph Recreation holds registration days three times a year: winter, spring/summer and fall. Room rentals
Bookable rooms
The Evergreen Seniors Community Centre has activity rooms available for booking. Capacity ranges from 40-75 people. All activity rooms have tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment and a sink.
Auditorium
Located near the main entrance. Evergreen’s auditorium/gymnasium has a hardwood sprung floor, stage and projector screen. Stick sports (e.g. floor hockey) are not permitted. There are 175 chairs and 35 tables available with this space. The Auditorium has a capacity of 300, with tables and chairs available.
