How are we doing on the road?

City of Guelph Fleet

There are over 500 vehicles operated and maintained by City of Guelph to provide the required services. These include cars, light trucks, heavy construction equipment, emergency service vehicles, tractors, landscape maintenance equipment, sweepers and snow removal equipment.

Equipment operators meet not only Ministry of Transportation Highway Traffic Act requirements but are also provided additional training such as defensive driving and fuel efficient driving.

To report an issue with a City owned and operated vehicle you will require;

  • type of vehicle
  • vehicle number (locate on front driver’s side fender) or license plate
  • name of the street vehicle was located on when issue was noted
  • nearest building number
  • time and date issue noted
  • operator’s name if available
  • description of problem
