Gravel roads and shoulders

City crews regularly inspect streets and intersections according to the Municipal Act, Ontario Regulation 239/02 Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways to identify potholes, washouts and other road deficiencies. Heavy rains can cause washouts while freeze and thaw cycles can cause ruts and potholes.
