The following apps can be downloaded to your smartphone to make planning a trip with Guelph Transit easier.
Conventional bus service
Transit app
Transit app offers real time departure times for Guelph Transit, and other municipalities, too. For those who use conventional bus service, Transit app is a great tool for trip planning. The app shows accurate and up-to-date departure times in a user-friendly way. Guelph Transit is an official Transit app partner. This means users who open the app within Guelph city limits will automatically have access to enhanced trip planning features, which are typically only accessible to those who purchase Transit app’s paid version, Royale.
Google Maps
With Google Map’s built-in transit support, riders can get step-by-step transit directions, find transit stops in Guelph, and view route information and schedules.
Where’s My Bus” text or call service
Do you want to know when your bus will arrive at your stop? Text or call the “Where’s My Bus” service to find out.
Guelph Transit bus stop ID numbers are displayed at each stop location. At the bottom of each sign is a unique bus stop ID number.
- Text the bus stop ID to 855-490-6530. You will get a text back with the next three arrival times for all routes servicing that stop.
- Call 1-855-394-0811 and enter the bus stop ID when prompted. Follow the prompts to get the next three arrival times for all routes servicing that stop. You can receive arrival times for now or a time in the future.
On-demand and mobility bus service
The Guelph Transit On-demand App is used for booking and scheduling on-demand and mobility rides.
Guelph Transit uses On-demand bus service to complement our conventional bus service. On-demand has no fixed route or schedule. You can book a ride when it’s most convenient for you, at the same price as a conventional trip.
Mobility Services
Mobility Services is a specialized transit service that provides accessible transportation within the city limits of Guelph. Service is provided on wheelchair accessible buses and, when needed, contracted taxi services.
How to book an On-demand or mobility bus service without downloading the app

- Call an On-demand booking agent at 519-822-1811, prompt 5. Bookings can be made during these hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
