Guelph, Ontario, May 29, 2025 – As of September 1, 2025, the Community Bus will merge with other existing services to help streamline routes in our community.
As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize Guelph Transit’s service, we reviewed ridership data that indicates the Community Bus is currently underutilized and can be merged with existing Conventional, On-demand and Mobility Services to create more efficiency in our network.
Our goal is to enhance transit efficiency and accessibility for the greatest number of riders.
Throughout the summer, we will reach out to Community Bus riders directly to assist them in using our suite of trip planning tools and existing services to meet their needs. We want all riders to feel supported and empowered to use Guelph Transit services to help you move around town quickly and efficiently.
