What’s happening:
Country Side Excavation is removing road asphalt, curb, sidewalk and boulevard to install a new waterservice. All surfaces will be restored back to their original condition.
Why:
This project supports the construction of an additional dwelling unit at 129 Baxter Drive. For more information about the development, please contact [email protected].
When:
Work is expected to start on or about Tuesday September 8, 2026, and take about one (1) week to complete, weather permitting.
Changes during construction
Traffic lanes: Baxter Drive will be closed to through traffic from Frederick Drive to the south intersection at Goodwin Drive. Local traffic will be permitted along Baxter Drive during construction, however, there will be no through access at 129 Baxter Drive.
Sidewalks: The sidewalk along Baxter Drive will be closed, Frederick Drive to the south intersection at Goodwin Drive. Please use the sidewalk on Goodwin Drive.
Guelph Transit: No changes.
Waste collection: No Changes.
Private driveway access: Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.– 6 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property.
