What’s happening:
James Thoume Construction is removing road asphalt, curb, and boulevard to install a new water and sanitary service. All surfaces will be restored back to their original condition.
Why:

When:
Construction is scheduled to begin on November 9 and should be completed on November 13, weather permitting.
Changes during construction
Traffic lanes: Kirkland Street will be closed to through traffic from London Road West to Garth Street. Local traffic will be permitted along Kirkland Street during construction; however, there will be no through access at 57 Kirkland Street.
Sidewalks: The East sidewalk along Kirkland Street will be closed from London Road West to Suffolk Street West. Please utilize the West sidewalk along Kirkland Street.
Guelph Transit: No changes.
Waste collection: No Changes.
Private driveway access: Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–6 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property.
