What’s happening:
Drexler Construction Ltd. is removing road asphalt, curb, sidewalk and boulevard to install 4 new water and sanitary services. All surfaces will be restored back to their original condition.
Why:
This project supports the construction of a new development at 108 to 114 Fleming Road. For more information about the development, please contact [email protected].
When:
Work is expected to start on or about Wednesday September 9, 2026, and take about three (3) weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Changes during construction
Traffic lanes: Fleming Road will be closed to through traffic from O’Connor Lane to Law Drive. Local traffic will be permitted along Fleming Road during construction , however, there will be no through access from 108 – 114 Fleming Road at the Frasson Drive intersection.
Sidewalks: The North sidewalk along Fleming Road will be closed from O’Connor Lane to Law Drive. Please use the sidewalk on the South side along Fleming Road.
Guelph Transit: No changes.
Waste collection: No changes.
Private driveway access: Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property.
