Online Have Your Say survey is open through October 1
Guelph, Ont., September 10, 2026 – We’re just about ready to finish the design of Sloan Hill Park (106 Beaumont Crescent), we just need the community’s help to pick the perfect playground equipment. Share your thoughts through Have Your Say by October 1.
Community input collected earlier this year helped us prepare the park layout, and now we’re working on the finishing touches: the playground equipment and where benches and shade trees should be placed. Taking the time to fill out the online survey will help us make sure the park we’re building meets the neighbourhood’s wants and needs.
The survey presents two playground designs with different sorts of play equipment, and we’re hoping you’ll let us know what parts you like and what you don’t. We’ll mix and match the community’s favourite features to craft the perfect playground. Once this survey closes, we’ll take all the feedback we get to prepare the final Sloan Hill Park design, getting ready for construction in spring 2027, pending budget approval.

About neighbourhood parks
Neighbourhood parks are the building blocks of Guelph’s park system, taking the form of smaller local parks that serve the needs of one neighbourhood. They often include play areas, recreation amenities and green spaces that are close to people’s homes. They’re meant to be easily walked to, so people can enjoy unorganized, unstructured and spontaneous activities.
