Exhibition Park rail rider installation

We’re installing a rail rider, a zipline-like playground feature, next to the existing playground in Exhibition Park.

As a popular community park drawing visitors from across and beyond Guelph, Exhibition Park is the perfect location for a unique rail rider feature. This project has been made possible thanks to a memorial donation in honour of Amanda and Evan Lodge.

Construction work begins on or around September 15 and is expected to complete in late fall 2026 weather permitting.

Changes during construction

Trails: The north-south trail near the washroom building and playground may have temporary short-term closures throughout the construction period.

Playground: The existing playground will not be impacted during the installation of the rail rider.

Washrooms: The nearby washrooms will not be impacted during the installation of the rail rider.
