Metcalfe Street reconstruction

Terry Boulevard to Eramosa Road

The City of Guelph is working to reconstruct Metcalfe Street from Terry Boulevard to Eramosa Road. Construction includes the installation of sanitary and storm sewer pipes, water pipes, curb, gutter and sidewalks, and final repaving.

Updated construction timeline

Construction is currently ongoing and underground and surface works to be completed from Eramosa Road to Pleasant Road, December 2022. Servicing work will then re-commence in the spring of 2023 and the work from Pleasant Place to Terry will be completed August 2023, with surface paving being completed from Eramosa Road to Terry Boulevard upon completion of all servicing in 2023.

Metcalfe Street will be closed from Terry Boulevard to Eramosa Road in both directions with limited access. There will be no on-street parking during the project.
