Glenhill Place reconstruction

From Eramosa Road

The City of Guelph is working to reconstruct Glenhill Place from Eramosa Road to the end of the cul de sac. Minor work will be completed on a portion of Metcalfe Street in front of the Elliot Community. The project includes the replacement of watermain, storm sewers and sanitary sewers as well as the replacement of curbs, gutters and asphalt.

Update: Work will re-commence in spring 2020

The contractor will not be completing any work during the winter months. The remaining work will be completed in spring 2020, which includes surface asphalt paving on Glenhill Place and tree planting.

During final paving operations residents will not have access to their driveways. Adequate notice will be given to all residents in advance of paving operations, which will include the dates and duration for which driveway access will be impacted.

All construction notices, including timing updates and traffic changes will be posted at guelph.ca/construction and in the latest updates section.

Public meetings

The City hosts open houses to provide detailed project information to interested stakeholders. Open house notices are posted in the latest updates section. Open house materials will be available online following the event.

The City of Guelph appreciates your patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure project.
