A Community Open House: It’s Your Turn on Stage
River Run Centre hosted a free all-day event featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the theatre through a series of hands-on activities for the whole family.
Handmade Nation film screening
The Ontario Crafts Council presented a free screening of the indie documentary film, Handmade Nation, in partnership with the eBar. The film, by Faythe Levine, documents the movement of a DIY arts community that thrives on creativity, determination, and networking.
Discover Your Ancestry, presented by the Guelph Public Library
The library has collected a wide variety of sources to assist with researching family trees, including telephone directories, newspapers, published family histories and school yearbooks. Participants were invited to start the search with the assistance of Library staff, using ancestry.com.
