Zoning Bylaw Review Workshop – Residential Areas
November 28 at 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
About this Event
We’re reviewing the existing Zoning Bylaw to ensure it aligns with the City’s updated Official Plan, reflects current zoning practices and works for you and your neighbours today and in the future. Really, we’re making sure all the pieces fit together to support our shared vision for growth as laid out in the Official Plan through a new set of rules. Those rules will be identified in the new zoning bylaw.
This workshop will include a presentation by staff on the options and recommendations for the types of uses that are allowed in your neighbourhood, how townhouses and apartments can fit into your neighbourhood, and the location and rules for special needs housing, group homes, lodging houses, and accessory apartments . This will be followed by small group facilitated discussions about these topics.
Please attend this session to learn more and be part of a discussion about options for a new zoning bylaw.
