Paramedic Services Week information session
May 28 at 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 12:00pm, repeating until May 29, 2018
In celebration of national Paramedic Services Week, May 27 to June 2, the Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service (GWPS) is hosting free information sessions on Monday, May 28 and Tuesday, May 29 at Stone Road Mall.
The sessions will run from noon to 8 p.m.
Check out an ambulance paramedic first response unit, watch equipment demonstrations, get career information, and learn about the paramedic’s role in the community.
File of Life magnets will also be handed out. Guelph and Wellington County residents are asked to record critical medical information on the magnet and place it on the outside of the fridge—a place that is highly visible and gives emergency first responders quick access to a patient’s medical history during an emergency.
