Exploring Guelph’s Roots: The Moccasin Identifier
June 3 at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
FreeIn celebration of National Indigenous History Month, please join us Saturday, June 3, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for an important outdoor workshop held by the Moccasin Identifier Project at the Guelph Civic Museum. In this workshop, participants will stencil images of moccasins on walkways outside of the Guelph Civic Museum in non-toxic and washable paint. In doing so, attendees will learn about the Indigenous communities present in Guelph and surrounding areas as well as their different types of moccasins. Registration is encouraged; however, there is no entry restriction and people of all ages are welcome.
