From September 10 to 19, communities around the world, including Guelph and Wellington County, will celebrate Welcoming Week. This annual initiative recognizes the importance of building communities where everyone feels a sense of belonging, connection and inclusion.
This year’s theme, “Stories We Share: The Courage to Connect“, highlights how shared experiences and meaningful connections can help strengthen our community.
Start the week with a welcome
Community members are invited to take part in a breakfast reception on Thursday, September 10, from 9:30 to 12:00 p.m. in the Marg Mackinnon Room at Guelph City Hall.
The reception will bring together elected officials, City leadership, community leaders and partners for a morning of connection and shared purpose.
Experience a Guelph-Wellington welcome in action
Throughout Welcoming Week, community partners will host free events across Guelph and Wellington County. These events are opportunities to meet neighbours, discover local resources, share stories and celebrate what makes our community a welcoming place to live, work and play.
