Construction Notice: Paving at the City’s public waste drop-off site to begin Monday, July 13

About the project

The City is paving internal roads at the Waste Resource Innovation Centre public waste drop-off site at 110 Dunlop Drive starting Monday, July 13. Work will take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Site access and detours

Some areas of the site will remain open; however, household hazardous waste drop-off access will be closed on Friday, July 24 for one day. Visitors are expected to have identification and are asked to please follow the signs on site that will direct you to the correct gate for drop-off. Please also be cautious and alert when driving on-site.

Visitors should expect delays and plan extra time to get through the gates. Visitors are encouraged to avoid peak days, such as Mondays and Saturdays, and avoid peak times during weekdays between 8:30 – 10 a.m. and 12 – 2 p.m.

Services affected

While some areas of the site will remain open, staff will need to temporarily close off access to the household hazardous waste drop-off on July 24 for one day.
