New Guelph Transit summer pass for post-secondary students available July 2

Guelph Transit is launching a July and August pass for post-secondary students. The pass can be added to your OnYourWay fare card for $68 per month starting July 2.

To purchase the pass, you need to show one of the following:

  • Tuition payment receipt
  • Summer or winter semester timetable
  • Proof of enrollment of summer or previous winter semester

Passes are available at Guelph Central Station’s mobile centre, Guelph Transit and ServiceGuelph at City Hall.

Guelph Transit staff will be at Guelph Central Station selling the post-secondary student pass on July 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Payment for passes can be made by credit card or debit.

Please wear a mask when visiting these locations. Debit or credit card is preferred, but cash will be accepted.

  • Guelph Transit administrative office, 170 Watson Road South, from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
  • ServiceGuelph (Guelph City Hall) from 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Transit fare collection resumes July 6

Starting, Monday, July 6, you must pay to ride the bus. Please enter the bus through the front doors.

Wearing a mask or face covering on the bus is required, based on advice from Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health. If you don’t have a mask, we are providing some at Guelph Central Station. Ask for one from the on-duty supervisor. Masks are available at no charge while supplies last.
