It’s your voice! Have your say on trails, parks and recreation in Guelph

Online survey closes December 16

Guelph, Ont. November 25, 2019 – How can we improve your trail experience? Do you live close enough to a park? Do you prefer drop-in or registered recreation programs?

Tell us by taking our online survey at

The survey is a part of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan (PRMP) update—a shared vision and strategy for how the City’s parks and recreation programs, services and facilities should grow to meet current and future needs of the community.

Using feedback gathered in June and July, this survey digs deeper to help us understand the emerging themes and to validate what you’ve already told us.

We’re also merging the Guelph Trails Master Plan engagement process with the PRMP. This makes it easier for you to provide feedback on trails, parks and recreation—together! By aligning the two processes, we’re well-positioned to understand the financial impacts of both plans.

Staff will present a combined master plan for parks, recreation and trails for Council’s consideration in fall 2020.

This work supports the City’s Strategic Plan as we continue to build strong, vibrant, safe and healthy communities that foster resilience in the people who live here. As Guelph grows, we are also committed to planning and designing an increasingly sustainable city.
