The purpose of the proposed Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment application is to permit the development of an eight storey mixed use building with 88 apartment units, commercial uses at grade and a gas service station.

The Official Plan Amendment application proposes to add a site-specific policy to the Neighbourhood Commercial Centre designation to permit a maximum building height of eight (8) storeys. The Zoning By-law Amendment application proposes to rezone the lands from the current “Urban Reserve” (UR) Zone to a specialized “General Apartment” (R.4A-?) Zone with site specific provisions.
