Paisley Street to Cork Street

About the project

Sousa Concrete will be restoring the pavement and concrete surfaces along Norfolk Street.

Work begins September 23

Work is scheduled to start on or about September 23, and take about three days to complete, weather permitting.

Lane reductions and bicycle lane closed

Norfolk Street will undergo a lane reduction during the project. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times. Please follow posted signs for safety. A full road closure is not expected, however, delays should be expected.

The bicycle lane will be closed from Paisley Street to just south of Cork Street. Cyclists will be required to merge with vehicular traffic.

Pedestrian access

The sidewalks on Norfolk Street are expected to remain open, however, pedestrians should follow posted signs for their safety.

Property and business access and parking

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property.
