Open house notice: York Road reconstruction: Phase 2

Ontario Street to Stevenson Street

The City of Guelph is hosting an open house to present plans for construction of the second phase of the York Road reconstruction project. This phase includes the installation of underground water and sewer pipes on York Road from Ontario Street to Stevenson Street.

Why come to the open house?

York Road will be closed from Ontario Street to Stevenson Street in both directions with limited local access.

This is your opportunity to view project information, including maps and schedules, and to ask questions about traffic impacts and access to properties. You’re encouraged to provide comments and feedback to City staff and consultants at the open house.

About the project

Construction on York Road from Ontario Street to Stevenson Street includes the installation of sanitary and storm sewer pipes, water pipes, curb, gutter and sidewalks, and final repaving.

Construction is expected to start in early April 2020 and be completed by October 2020.
