At Edinburgh Road North
About the project
The City is working with Canadian National Railway to conduct railway track maintenance on Paisley Street at Edinburgh Road North.
Work is being completed by Canadian National Railway.
Work begins August 28
Work is scheduled to start on or about August 28, and take about two days to complete, weather permitting.
Paisley Street closed
Paisley Street will be closed to through traffic at the railway crossing, immediately east of Edinburgh Road North. Please use alternate routes.
The sidewalks on Paisley Street and Edinburgh Road North will remain open and accessible during construction. No pedestrians will be permitted to cross the railway tracks.
Property and business access
All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
Guelph Transit routes 10, 11 and 20 will be temporarily detoured during construction. Visit guelphtransit.ca for information about stop changes and route detours.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
