Guelph, Ont., May 24, 2019—Pfaff Subaru officially opened their new Guelph dealership at 12 Wilbert Street during a grand opening ceremony last night.

Pfaff Subaru broke ground for the new dealership in the City’s west end in September 2018, and completed construction on schedule in December.

Pfaff Subaru chose to invest in Guelph because the community matched their needs on key decision criteria including location and quality of life. Guelph’s ideal location paired with convenient access to neighbouring communities made Guelph an excellent fit for a new dealership.

Guelph is a great location for new or expanding business. Guelph is the sixth fastest growing city in Canada and 97 per cent of Guelph residents rate the overall quality of life as good or very good.

Pfaff Subaru brings diversity to the brands of new vehicles available for sale in Guelph. The Pfaff Subaru dealership provides employment for 25 people and expects those positions to grow to 50 in the next couple of years.

“On behalf of Council, I’m thrilled to welcome Pfaff Subaru to Guelph. We welcome their investment, we welcome the jobs they bring, and we welcome the added choice for people in the market for a new vehicle. I wish Pfaff Subaru all the best for much success and growth in our city.”
– Mayor Cam Guthrie, City of Guelph

“On behalf of City staff it has been a pleasure to work with the Pfaff Subaru team – from ground breaking, to now officially opening the doors on their newest dealership. We want to thank Pfaff for investing in Guelph, we look forward to watching their business grow in our community in the years to come.”
– Christine Chapman, Economic Development Officer, City of Guelph

“We’re very excited to be bringing the Subaru brand to the Guelph market. The company’s product line is the perfect fit for the area. A combination of young families, established upscale households attracted us to Guelph’s excellent quality of life, and a vibrant community of car enthusiasts will discover a great experience at Pfaff Subaru. The first Pfaff store built around our new future retail model, our customer experience is designed to make buying a car faster, easier, and more transparent than ever. We have really enjoyed working with the City of Guelph to bring this new dealership to fruition, and look forward to serving this vibrant, progressive community in years to come.”
– Chris Pfaff, President and Chief Executive Officer, Pfaff Automotive Partners
