Dean Avenue lane reduction starting May 15
Between Woodside Road and Talbot Street
The City is working with Drexler Construction Limited to undertake private infrastructure work, on behalf of a private developer, to construct and install sewer and water pipes to a new home on Dean Avenue.
Construction begins May 15
Construction is expected to begin on or about May 15, and will take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting.
There will be a lane reduction on Dean Avenue, however, two-way traffic will be maintained during the project.
The sidewalk in front of 65 Dean Avenue will be closed to pedestrians during construction.
Property access and parking
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
