Construction notice: Dublin Street South closed starting April 23

Between Fountain Street West and Nottingham Street

About the project

The City is working with J. G. Goetz Construction Ltd. to undertake private infrastructure work, on behalf of the owner of 55 Dublin Street South, to construct and install sewer and water pipes for the new home.

Road closed starting April 23

Construction is expected to begin on or about April 23, and will take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting.

Dublin Street South will be closed to through traffic throughout the project. On-street parking will be temporarily restricted in the construction area.

Pedestrian access

The west sidewalk will be closed in front of 55 Dublin Street South. Please use a nearby crossing to use the east sidewalk.

Property and business access and parking

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
