Please move all parked cars off the streets

Guelph, Ont., February 27, 2019 – A residential plow out is scheduled to start at 10 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, to clear roads, bike lanes, sidewalks and trails. Please move all parked cars off of the streets so plows can pass.

We appreciate your patience as we work throughout the evening to remove the snow.

Please give us 24 hours after the snow stops before submitting a road service request and three days before submitting a sidewalk service request. This allows our teams to finish their routes before assessing what we might have missed.

When will roads and bike lanes get plowed?

A plow out is typically completed 24 hours after a storm has stopped. During that time, we start plowing main roads and bike lanes first, followed by secondary roads. Residential streets will be plowed last. Please give us until 24 hours after a storm before submitting a service request.

When will sidewalks and multi-use paths get plowed?

Guelph’s 660 kilometres of sidewalks and multi-use paths take three days to clear. Stretched end-to-end, they’re the same distance between Guelph and Montreal. We appreciate your patience as we work to get them cleared. Please hold your service requests for three days so we can complete our routes.
