About the project

Union Gas LTd. is excavating the road to access their infrastructure for maintenance.

Construction begins November 27

Construction is expected to begin on or about November 27 and take approximately one day, weather permitting.

Lane reductions

There will be a lane reductions during the work. Traffic will be maintained in all directions throughout the work, including turning. Delays should be expected.

Sidewalk on northwest corner of the intersection will be closed

The sidewalk on the northwest corner of Norfolk Street and Cork Street West intersection will be temporarily closed throughout the project.

Property access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
