City celebrates GIS Day with launch of new online mapping application

Guelph, Ont., November 8, 2018 – On Wednesday, November 14, the City of Guelph will launch the new GeoDataHub as part of annual GIS Day celebrations.

You are invited to join City staff and members of the public to celebrate GIS Day. The event is an opportunity to learn about geographic information systems (GIS) and mapping, and to meet City employees who use GIS in the work they do.

The event will feature demonstrations showing how the City uses GIS to improve City services, and will showcase the new GeoDataHub found at guelph.ca/maps.

The event is free and is open to the public.
