Construction notice: Starwood paving, Chesterton to Lee, starts November 6

About the project

The City is working with Capital Paving Inc. to repave the road surface.

All work will take place on City property.

Road work begins November 6

Road work is expected to start on or about Tuesday, November 6 and continue for approximately two days, weather permitting.

Lane reductions

There will be a lane reduction on Starwood Drive, however, two-way traffic will be maintained.

Driveway access will be maintained

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

Pedestrian impacts

Adult crossing guards have been temporarily relocated to Starwood Drive at Keating Street and Fleming Road until further notice.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
