Scheduled installation of traffic islands to start October 22
About the project
The City is starting construction at the entrances of the Baker Street parking lot to install new concrete islands. This construction will improve vehicle access to the parking lot. Islands will be installed at the entrance from Baker Street and the entrance from Chapel Lane.
Construction will begin on October 22 and continue until approximately October 26, weather permitting.
Parking lot access will be restricted
Access to the entrance of the parking lot will be restricted and signage will direct parking lot users how to access available parking.
There are no restrictions to pedestrian access. Pedestrians are reminded to exercise caution in the construction area and follow signage and instructions to ensure their safety at all times.
Adjacent business access and parking
Access to adjacent business will remain open and parking in the lot is available.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected.
