Construction notice: Elmira Road South construction starts October 24

About the project

Mammoet Canada Eastern Ltd. is setting up a crane on Elmira Road South near 1042 Paisley Road.

Construction begins October 24

Construction is expected to begin on or about October 24 and take approximately two days, weather permitting.

Lane reductions to Elmira Road South

There will be a lane reduction on Elmira Road South, however, two-way traffic will be maintained.

Sidewalk closed on the north side of Elmira Road South

The sidewalk on the north side of Elmira Road South will be temporarily closed throughout the project. Pedestrians should follow signs and use the south side sidewalk between Paisley Road and Stephanie Drive for safe access.

Property and business access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
