Scheduled curb repairs to take about two weeks to complete
About the project
The City is starting construction at the entrance to the West and East Parkades to cut the existing curbs and install new concrete forms. This construction will reduce the footprint of the existing curbs and improve vehicle access to the parkades.
Construction will begin on October 22 and continue until approximately November 5, weather permitting.
Parking lot access will be restricted
Access to the entrance of both parkades will be restricted and signage will direct parkade users how to access available parking.
There are no restrictions to pedestrian access. Pedestrians are reminded to exercise caution in the construction area and follow signage and instructions to ensure their safety at all times.
Adjacent business access and parking
Access to adjacent business will remain open and parking in the parkades is available.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected.
The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Project details and any updates will be posted on guelph.ca/construction.
