Construction notice: Trail improvements coming to Skov Park on October 2

About the project

The City is undertaking a trail improvement in Skov Park to upgrade the existing gravel trail from Sherwood Drive to the Skov Park tennis courts. The improvements will involve rebuilding the 110 metre trail to a 2.5 metre gravel pathway.

Construction starts October 2

Work is expected to start on or about October 2 and be completed October 4, weather permitting.

Pedestrian access will be closed for the day

The trail will be closed to pedestrian use during the construction period.

Property and business access and parking

The Skov Park parking lot will be blocked off for construction vehicle access, however, the park and tennis courts will remain accessible.
