Construction notice: Elizabeth Street lane reductions starting August 21

Victoria Road South and Industrial Street

About the project

The City is working with Capital Paving Inc. to:

  1. Mill the road surface,
  2. Adjust manholes, and
  3. Repave the road surface.

All work will take place on City property.

Night paving begins August 21

Overnight paving work is expected to start on or about August 21 and continue for about one week, weather permitting.

Lane reductions

There will be shifting lane reductions during the work, however, traffic will maintained in both directions.

Property and business access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
